We’ve had a bit of an explosion of Maine maternity photos lately here at Gregory Rice Photography. Today I get to share you some of Rob and Samantha’s Maine pregnancy photos. Would you believe this couple has been together since high school? Congratulations to both of you again on the upcoming birth of your child. They decided to go old school and not learn the sex of the baby so we will have to wait a few more weeks to find out if it will be a boy or girl! Maternity sessions are a lot of fun here at the studio. I shoot both fine art sessions and more conservative and traditional sessions. Enjoy!

I love doing Maine maternity photos! Better yet is when I have two women who let me share their Maine belly photos in one week. I do both traditional pregnancy photos and fine art maternity photography. The majority lean to the more fine art side so these are very personal sessions and many women ask to keep their photos private. We actually shot two sessions with Keyla. One with henna and one without. Thanks so much Keyla for letting me share your Maine maternity photos!

Its been a while since I have been able to share some Maine maternity photos. This beautiful Mom to be is Marleen. I love exploring the beauty of the pregnant female body. I offer a full range of photos to help celebrate your pregnancy. I can shoot more traditional belly photos or we can take a more fine art approach like Marlene. Interested? Give the studio a call and I would be happy to talk to you about being your Maine maternity photography.

I am looking for a maternity model BEFORE the first trimester of her pregnancy. I am looking to create a composite piece of a simple photo of a woman at 3m, 6m, full term and with then baby. These are very simple 15 minute sessions. As compensation the client will receive a framed 16×24 final print of the composite. Previous modeling experience is not necessary but can be helpful.
Lately I have been doing a lot of Maine pregnancy photos. Many of my maternity photo clients ask to keep their photos private. Luckily Jessica and Keith have allowed me to share this one on the blog. I just love it when I can make a picture like this when you can just feel the couple’s love for one another.

For those of you that haven’t heard I am in the process of expanding my studio space and doubling the size of my shooting room. Yeah! Demolition is done and today they are going to be patching drywall. Early next week they are putting down hardwood floors.
So until next Wednesday Nov. 9 I am going to be a bit harder to reach than normal. I am set up in a temporary space but don’t have regular access to my phone. I will be checking messages several times a day and get back to you as soon as possible. E-mail is the best option during this time.
Thanks for your patience. This will be the last major change for 5 years and well worth the inconvenience. My shooting room will be a massive 22×40. This will allow me to offer you so many more options and cool stuff. I can’t wait to start shooting in the new space!
One of my goals for my photography this summer was to build a portfolio of Maine maternity photos not only featuring the beauty of a women’s pregnant body but adding the beauty of the Maine outdoors. I had an incredible belly photo session last Wednesday with Chris, Tabitha and their little girl Hailey. As I was working with Tabitha in preparing for the session I started to get that little tingle that this session might have some portfolio potential. The day of the shoot it was the first day of the heat wave, but there was a nice sea breeze cooling everything down. The humidity was high which will produce haze in the sky, but it also helps produce a very golden light perfect for this type of photography. As the family met me in the parking lot I saw that Tabitha had followed my clothing suggestions perfectly. She also produced a second skirt and top with a matching dress for her daughter that was outstanding for a Maine beach maternity session. All of the planets were aligning for a perfect session. Hailey was the perfect little girl during the session. Just silly enough for some great photos and very well behaved and patient. Thanks guys for an incredible session. I look forward to meeting your new little baby.
